WaterLines Analysis
In this section, we will run a Waterlines Analysis: the intent is to control what water holes are too close or too far from the external surface of the model.
Open the model BOTTOM.PRT from the attached data.
- Select Applications > Mold/Casting
- Then select Analysis > Mold Analysis
- The mold analysis type defaults to Waterlines. Enter a Minimum clearance of 15 mm and then press the COMPUTE button
Magenta color: the distance is lower than the 15 mm
Green color: the distance is equal to or larger than 15 mm.
